October 25th is National Orange Day, a day dedicated to ending violence against women and girls. Organizations around the world run activities to highlight the ways in which we can prevent and end violence once and for all. To honor this important day we are showcasing lovely orange frames just in time for the fall season.
Actress Nicole Kidman asserts, “I wear orange because violence against women and girls is an outrage that I will never accept”. You too can show support by wearing these lovely color blocked eyeglasses by Tura. The purple frames feature a thin lavender piping and a bit of orange at the temples and the interior.
“Say NO – UNiTE” is the UN Secretary General’s organization committed to ending violence against women. We are grateful such an organization exists and we appreciate the hard work that they do. We are featuring these semi-rimless glasses by Kliik Eyewear as another way in which you can keep their mission in mind and import a bit of orange in your daily ensemble.
Eye Bobs is an eyewear company that creates reasonably priced frames for both men and women.
Gender equality is one of the underlying missions of National Orange Day. We see no reason why a person of any sex, race, or creed can’t wear these super stylish orange and black frames. Even just by explaining “why orange” while wearing these black and orange frames by Modo you can put others on alert about National Orange Days and its many important goals.
The UNiTE campaign invites you to “Orange YOUR Neighbourhood” be spreading awareness through your own special talents. Whether you are a musician, artist, writer, speaker, public speaker, or wallflower, please find a way to spread the word about ending violence against women.
