A desire to revolutionize the media-enforced version of beauty was the driving force behind CHARMANT’s decision to support TV producer Caroline Bernier’s passion project to produce an interactive television beauty casting show featuring real people like you and me. Her vision is to make the world a little better by contributing to a positive individual self-image via The Fashion Hero platform.
Women and men from around the world, independent of nationality, size or skin color could register their profile via the website TheFashionHero.com and participate in the casting. A public online voting as well as a final selection of the candidates by each of the 12 sponsor companies decided on the finalists participating in the filming at Grand Sirenis Resort & Spa, Cancun, Mexico.

Unlike other talent or beauty contests, the candidates were not whittled down one by one but the show took an “everyone is a winner” approach. At the end the finalists were selected based on who matches the product best.
