New York, NY (September, 2017) –  The Ted Baker eyewear collection is historically classic in regards to shape and fit, but we’re here to remind you that Ted Baker never stops innovating in their design.  Using innovative materials and applying modern updates to retro frames is a design theme at the crux of the brand.  This time, innovation spurs from the use of a material that is 30% lighter than standard acetate, known as HDCA. HDCA, or High Density Cellulose Acetate.  More importantly, these lightweight frames are extremely strong; giving Ted Baker the ability to embellish them with spring hinges, metal décor and all of the other details used in the standard collection.  In fact, this lightweight material is so strong it keeps its form and adjustments in the same way a regular plastic frame would. In addition, the RX capabilities of an HDCA frame mirror that of a standard acetate frame.

Ted Baker launched the Men’s Finely Framed sub-collection earlier this year.  In an effort to perfectly compliment this men’s sub-collection, Ted Baker is now adding the Ladies’ Finely Framed sub-collection.  In the ladies’ Finely Framed sub-collection, Ted Baker has elevated these styles by pairing them with titanium temples; insuring the lightweight nature of the frame is preserved.  Embellished with Swarovski crystals, exclusive prints, and integrated spring hinges, the ladies’ Finely Framed sub-collection speaks to the girl who wants classic high-fashion appearance enhanced by lightweight materials and modern detailing.  And, while pushing the boundaries of innovation is at the heart of Ted Baker’s design, they never discard the importance of comfort and fit in their collections. In fact, these aspects reside at the forefront when it comes to designing.  The use of HDCA firmly addresses both innovation and comfort.  With this in mind, Ted Baker can say with certainty that the Ted Baker Finely Framed sub-collections are sure to stand out in a crowd. However, when worn, they’re so light you might not even notice they’re on.
