Snap (Snapchat) is giving the Spectacles experiment another go.

Today, Snap unveiled a second generation of the wearable camera with a few design changes such as better download speeds and the promise of water resistance. The new Spectacles come with a higher price tag as well: $150, up $20 from the original version.

Snap’s first foray into the wearable scene didn’t go as well as it’d hoped. Spectacles were initially a hit, with Snap generating lots of buzz by offering only a limited supply through traveling vending machines. The company disclosed last year that it was warehousing several hundred thousand pairs of unsold glasses and took a $40 million loss on them.
