PINELLAS PARK, Fla., August, 2014 –OneSight has launched a Public Service Announcement (PSA) featuring GRAMMY® and CMA Award-winning country music artist and Transitions® lens wearer and brand ambassador, Darius Rucker. Called “Bringing Dreams Into Focus,” the PSA raises awareness among consumers about the role healthy vision plays in making one’s dreams come true, and encourages them to get involved with OneSight to help the children and adults who suffer from vision loss worldwide.
“My dream has always been to make music, and I couldn’t imagine not being able to read music notes or the lyrics to a song,” said Rucker. “I’m honored to support Transitions Optical and OneSight in educating people about the global vision care crisis and giving those less fortunate a chance to see their dreams come true. It’s a message that we all need to hear.”

The PSA, which will be airing as a :30 second and :60 second segment nationwide, features Rucker writing music indoors and enjoying the outdoors with his guitar, all while wearing his Transitions lenses. The PSA ends with Rucker asking viewers to join him by getting involved with OneSight because “Everyone deserves to see their dreams come true.”
A voiceover delivers various statistics throughout the segment, calling attention to the vision care problems affecting the world and even those at home in the U.S. A supporting multimedia news release will further bring attention to vision care issues and encourage consumers to take care of their sight.
