Employee Purchase of Fashion Optical Displays Retains Company’s Leadership in Ophthalmic Industry
(Paradise, Calif.)—Fashion Optical Displays announces its sale to three of the company’s veteran executives. This Northern California company specializes in the design and manufacturing of American-made wood and laminate ophthalmic furnishings. Long-time employees, Lori Estrada, Elizabeth Henton and Matthew Kiraly purchased the company from retiring owners, Katherine Maxwell and Ed Muehlberger. “When Ed and Kathy wanted to retire,” Henton comments, “it was a logical and easy decision for us to purchase this outstanding company. With our combined experience of more than 70 years with Fashion, we have the know how to operate this company from day one.” Henton and Estrada have been with the company since 1983. Henton will retain her current position as CEO and Estrada as Design and Sales Manager. With the company since 1992, Kiraly is Manager of the company’s Research and Design, Promotion, and Marketing Departments.
Founded in 1978, Fashion Optical Displays offers complete design and layout services, interior design and custom manufacturing of, dispensing, exam, and lab furnishings and optical displays for any size practice.
