Kyme presents the new collection and introduces its Icons. The typical contemporary vintage style of Kyme, which has always been linked to art and architecture, also finds in the newborn Icon a sort of tribute to art, in this case to the artist Dan Flavin (in particular to his first series of illuminated works of 1960) where the aesthetic rigor merges with an emotional descriptive component given by the use of color.

Kyme Icon

Each Kyme’s Icon wants to create a unique contrast: from linear and rigorous profiles contrasted by the emotional element given by the vintage recall, to the use of shiny metals, frames in thin cellulose acetate, shaded lenses, holes and facets that put into the foreground  the light.
