March 2015 –Area98 latest Kaos Eyewear range for young people, presents a series of frames which complete the ideal study of colour that was behind the style research presented at the beginning of the year. The trend is now consolidated: colour, light-heartedness The trend is now consolidated: colour, light-heartedness and contrasts are the spark that fires new frames with eye-catching shapes, fluro appliqués and open-work hardware. The materials – metal and acetate – are moulded into square shapes with a geek vibe. Two-tone is mandatory for these bold, sculpted frame fronts, while original appliqués imbue the glasses with a youthful, free-and-easy allure.
This is the case, for example, of the KK351 model, a perky frame with a metal front and coloured acetate tesserae on the temples. Or alternatively, KK355, where the acetate’s marble-effect is replaced on the temples by contrasting coloured appliqués, almost as if seeking to point out that you shouldn’t take yourself too seriously.
Lastly, KAOS’s typical carefree spirit is recreated in the model KK357 and which, despite their classic, square fronts, are distinguished by a futuristic effect of fluro colours – some plain, some with printed effects – and open-work appliqués that both separate and join the temples, like movable bridges suspended over a void.
