Designer Jason Wu, though relatively young at age 32, has a point of view that it is timeless. Across the board, his constructions are classic with a touch of modernity and these lovely olive toned eyeglasses are just another demonstrative spectacle of that balancing act. The frontal portion of the frames feature horizontal stripping adding texture to the style. An ultra modern metallic “eyebrow” adorns what would otherwise be very traditionally shaped eyeglasses.
The metallic “eyebrow” enhancement is prominently showcased in rose gold abreast these stunning black frames. The shape itself is a cross between a rectangular frame and a cat eye, because why should anyone have to choose between two fantastic eyewear styles?
A more subtle way to promulgate this newfangled “eyebrow” idea is placing it on a classic tortoise print frame. These glasses are a fantastic way to try out this trend while maintaining a counterbalance between the modernistic and the perennial. A soft Lily arm piece prevents the overall look from being too busy and keeps a rather surprising cohesion across the eyewear.
