California Optometric Society

California Optometry magazine is proud to announce the return of its Case Study Contest, open to recent graduates participating in residency programs and fourth-year optometry students who have current California Optometric Association student membership for 2010-2011.

Last year, California Optometry received eight entries for its first-ever Case Study Contest, and the judging panel selected as the winner Dr. Pei-Chen Jennifer Hsieh of the Orange County Optometric Society for her case study, “Intrastromal Corneal Ring Segment (Intacs).”

For this year’s Case Study Contest, only case studies may be submitted, and submissions can be on any topic related to optometry. Case studies will be evaluated and the winner is expected to be announced in the May/June 2011 issue of CO. The grand prize winner will be asked to develop their winning case study into a CE@Home article for an upcoming issue of CO.

All case study submissions are due no later than Friday, November 12, 2010. For more information or to submit your case study, contact Corrie Pelc at cpelc@coavision.org.
