Viva International Group, a worldwide leader in ophthalmic frames and sunglass distribution and manufacturing headquartered in Somerville, NJ, has announced a global licensing agreement with footwear designer Mark Nason, for the design, marketing and global distribution of Mark Nason-branded eyewear, including sunglasses and prescription eyewear.

The Mark Nason Eyewear line will debut in early 2011, featuring classic rock n’ roll elements and signature embellishments, as seen in the brand’s exclusive couture leather boot designs. Whether those elements are Mark Nason “signature” dragon, metal work and laser etchings that appear on the footwear, it’s the designer’s attention to detail that fans have come to recognize. “We are excited about adding the Mark Nason collection to our portfolio of lifestyle brands,” said Frank Rescigna, president of Viva. “Mark’s passion for originality has resulted in the creation of a line that is distinct in its design and one of a kind.
