Paws N Claws Eyewear recently launched a new promotional contest via Facebook, entitled “Hot Dudes in Specs.” Winners receive the chance to appear in the Paws N Claws 2017 calendar, among other great prizes.
Pittsburgh, PA, 2016: Paws N Claws Eyewear aims to attract a younger demographic with their latest social media initiative, in the form of a “Hot Dudes in Specs” photo contest. With an audience that traditionally skews female and middle-aged, Paws N Claws has decided to step up efforts to reach a diverse new group of animal-lovers, first with the launch of their trendier, edgier Boutique eyewear line, and now with an array of social media promotions including the new Hot Dudes in Specs Contest.
“We noticed that most of our models were predominantly young women, and we wanted to change that,” said Sam Shapiro, president and CEO of Paws N Claws Eyewear.
Thus, the Hot Dudes in Spec contest was born. Twelve winners of the contest will be featured in the 2017 Paws N Claws Eyewear contest and they will also each receive a special discount coupon towards purchases. The grand-prize winner will also appear on the cover of the calendar, and he will get a $100 VISA® gift card in addition to a free pair of sunglasses and a spot in an upcoming Paws N Claws Eyewear ad campaign.
The contest was initially geared towards college students but any men over the age of 18 are free to enter.
Entrants can submit their photos via the Paws N Claws Eyewear Facebook page until October 14th, 2016. The voting period will be from October 15-24, 2016. Winners will be determined by votes.
