Nouveau Eyewear' Global ReLeaf Plants a Tree
In 2008, Nouveau Eyewear joined up with American Forests, the nation’s oldest nonprofit citizens’ conservation organization, to introduce Global ReLeaf Eyewear. For every Global ReLeaf frame purchased, Nouveau Eyewear will plant a tree through the American Forests’ Global ReLeaf project. In continuing with the sustainability of the product the eyecase case will be eco-friendly, the packaging will be recycleable, the paper FSC certified and will even be using soy ink on company letterhead and business cards.
American Forests was founded in 1875 and is the oldest non-profit citizen’s conservation group and has planted over 25 million trees to date.
