Alain Mikli launched his first collection of eyewear in 1978 and the colorful collection quickly caught on with eyewear fans around the world. Elton John, known for his over the top eyewear collection, snagged up a few pairs of Mikli in the 80′s. Kanye West picked up Alain Mikli’s Shutter glasses which are now known as one of his signature looks.
